The Black Sheep Fredrick Dickens are a darkwave/gothic-electro duo from Darlington consisting of David Saunders and Rob Irish.
Their dark and cinematic soundscapes combined with unhinged, baritone vocals; conceptualise the life and legacy of Charles Dickens' wastrel brother. They take a tragic story filled with darkness and despair and use it as a metaphor for the modern day.
This ep is 24 minutes long and comes with a gorgeous booklet.

This is a poem about life, something Nick Cave could have written and sang. Superb. Favourite track will change next week. I hope you know you're the life within the rose.

Hi James, i first saw you a few years ago at Star And Shadow supporting Swine Tax and was impressed. I've been listening to this album for some time now on Spotify and Bandcamp and there isn't a bad track. it's really fresh sounding and very clever. Anyway, I just had to buy it! Thank you! Good luck for the future and the Cluny come back gig should get you out there and talked about, in a good way! Chris Broome
